Re: R.I.P. Harry Morgan

I liked him on M.A.S.H, but he was really cool on Dragnet with Jack Webb too.

Re: Here at last, 2012 Chrome Yellow Road Glide Custom

Yeah, it DOES look better without it, I always wished that the Venture trunk had been q/d, but having that extra dry storage is nice on a long trip. By now I bet the HD dealer prolly has your credit card on speed dial!!!

And it just keeps gettin' better lookin'! I'm still not 100% on the frame-mount fairing, but you are and that's what matters. Sweet lookin' ride dude, I DO dig the yellow!

Re: White or black walls?

Whitewalls look good either with a lot of chrome, or on a blacked-out bobber. I've got my first set on the Road Star, and I gotta say I think they look pretty good. I thought about them for my Venture, but to keep them looking good it would've meant removing the hard bags to clean them right. Now I ...

Re: Intake manifold leaks

Yeah, this would be something that would happen over a long period of time, and mine did sit outside a lot with it's previous owner. Where I found the crack was just where it splits and goes to the rear head, and it's about a 1/4" thick there too. A friend of mine has a '97 Lowrider and I know ...

Intake manifold leaks

After having some issues with my '03 Road Star I thought I'd pass along my findings and maybe it'd help someone else. When I bought the Roadie back in August it popped and backfired like crazy, just ask Annie and ecks. It has Cobra silp-on mufflers and the stock air box. As in past experiences I sta...

Re: Is a C90 a good step up from a C50????

It's pretty much what CG said above, but with comfort thrown in too. If the 90 doesn't "feel" good to you then it's likely not gonna be a good bike for you. You can do some tweaking to get a little more comfortable, (seats, handlebars), but if you sit on it and it just doesn't feel right, ...

Re: passenger offsets

Back in the "early" days of the VOL Popcycle made passenger peg offsets. They were machined out of billet aluminum, then you "flipped" the stock brackets. There were a few of us that were fortunate enough to get a set back in the day. You might ask around on here and see if anyon...

Re: Got my first bike! Need some help!

Welcome from Ky, nice looking scoot. You can try the Plast-X, looks like you can only get better from here with it. I used it on a windshield I had after getting what I suspected was diesel fuel on it out on the interstate. Go easy as it will scratch it if you bear down hard on it. Good luck!
