A friend of mine will be a daddy by morning. Regular Camel is his brand of cigarette. What's a good cigar for this guy?

If you can find an Oliva Serie O in a tube, it makes a nice presentation, mild/medium and very smooth & creamy. Or, you could look for Macanuco, very mild, Fuente Rosado Gran Reserva is another fantastic selection, great Dominican, mild, hint of sweet, hint of spice and a fantastic looking band, not that that matters, but when it's for a gift, it does.

puff, puff, PUFF ALREADY!

I got a Heaven Blu Taboo (Vanilla) and it wouldn't draw for s***. I cut it with a cigar cutter, lit the other end, and trying to puff on it was like trying to drink a Frosty through a coffee stirrer. The end was lit. Flammability was not the problem. I even tried poking a hole in either end and rolling the cigar between my fingers to loosen it up. No dice. Didn't find any tears or holes in the wrapper. What's up with that? I've had the same problem with other buy them at a cigar shop from a humidor type cigars. It's like they're rolled to tight.

Cigars are hand made items, made in the hundreds of thousands a year. You will get loose and tight cigars along with ones rolled perfectly well. Although it sucks (no pun intended) to get one that has a hard draw, pitch it and move in. It gets even worse when it happens with a $18 Opus or $22 Padron! However, they have more experienced rollers rolling those sticks so it doesn't happen that often in the higher end lines.
