just finished an onyx reserve churchill ..... nice and spicy, just what i needed to open up my sinuses (i hate summer colds) the draw was a little tight but it opened up about halfway thru and had a great finish. it was heating up my fingers pretty well when i finally dropped it into the ashtray. very nice

Our favorite Cop texted me a question today that I thought I'd just answer here today in case anybody else can benefit from the reply.

Question: How do you cut a La Flor Dominicana Air Bender with the Chisel tip?

Answer:

1) You don't have to! Simply take the cap end (chisel end) of the cigar, place it between your thumb and pointer finger holding the wide part, not flat part between your fingers. Gently snap the tip to open the end and it will draw perfectly! Litto Gomez asked his artisans to create a cigar that he could take in the field with him and not have to carry a cutter, the chisel tip is what they came up with.

2) Cut the normal amount off the tip with a cutter that you normally would any torpedo shaped cigar!

I bought that bundle a while back as well as I used to love that cigar. Mine were soaking wet when I got them, almost unsmokeable, I put them in the humidor for a few months and they're getting better. Hopefully yours are aren't quite as moist as mine were. Welcome to the VOL
