It's said that every generation hates the music of the one after it. I guess that started in the 1950s.

50s rock and roll is good.
The 60s have tons of great music.
The 70s is the real Classic Rock. I hear 80s Hard Rock is the new Classic Rock by way of age. Not buying it.
80s Metal is the best and it has the best Hard Rock, hands down. I go for some of that New Wave and the start of Alternative too.
90s claim to fame is Alt and Grunge. They had some great Metal too.
2000s, well, I never was a fan of "Top 40" anyway.

So who's good now? And here's where my eclectic taste shows.

Florence and the Machine
Adele
Fitz and the Tantrums
Black Keys
Clutch (as always!)
Red Fang "Prehistoric Dog" is playing now http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y3Vcoq-QRo4
Orange Goblin

The beauty of music and of there being plenty of stations is I never have to listen to musiic I don't like and I always can find the Eagles somewhere.

I know I am friggin old. I just changed my exhaust on my Volusia back to the stock pipes. The Peacemaker adjustable muffler was too loud in loud or quiet. When it is too loud, you are too old.
