Supposed to be around 55 here tomorrow. I'm gonna run down to city hall in the morning to renew my registration and hopefully get a ride in the afternoon. Prolly my last of the year. We had snow on saturday but the rain on sunday took care of that.

Back still killing me, but I sucked it up and rode a little today anyway. Just a few miles to get something for lunch. Amazingly, my back felt better while riding than it did just sitting at my desk. Awesome weather today. Looks like we're in for a nice weekend too.

Picked up the 109 this afternoon. It had 2015 miles on it, two hours later when I got home it has 2095 miles. A quick trip to the courthouse for plates and then the long way home. Sure is purdy out in the drive, too bad it's dark out and the bike is black.

What a treat here weather-wise for two days, hard to believe it is December! Hope this means winter will go by fast.

Glad I checked the tires yesterday, both were exactly 6 lbs low.

Doc, sorry to hear about the back pain, I know exactly how that feels, hope you recover fast.

Here's hoping for a quick and mild winter! Be safe!

Rode to work yesterday, a short ride today!

Looks like an OK weekend in this neck of the woods though!

I went back to Fallston, NC this afternoon to see if I could get a couple of pictures of the bike near the cotton fields. Traffic was a little busy in the afternoon and there weren't any good places to truly park safely. Just having the cotton plants with their bolls open was enough of an opportunity.

So, I got my ride in on 9 Dec 2012 with the weather being a bit cloudy but pleasant (69 to 70 degrees).

Was 1* above this morning, only going to get up to 33 so I am going to leave the bike in the barn. Only supposed to get down to 20 and up to 40 the rest of the week so I will be riding to work at least until Friday. Working nights now so getting off at 11 is really dark and cold. The deer are out then too, so it's a slow ride home.

But it's still a ride!

I snuck a quick ride the other day too. It's just a little bit too cold for me. No snow, but the ice cold wind seriously kills my hands..
