I'm still alive, however, bike less........

Had a house build early last year and who would have known all the money you need to put into a NEW HOUSE after its build...

Had to sell the bike for a fence, a shed, a deck, and sprinkler system...

All and all its worth it... Its killing me not to have a bike... but...

My day will come again...

Still kicking strong and enjoying 2015 to the max from hiking on the App Trail to surf fishing on Ocracoke and it's only May!

Running low on vacation days but the commute to work on the bike makes it all worthwhile. That and air conditioning, and watching the LPGA on TV.

So far Huckabee is the only candidate who is talking my lingo. He says we can't change the rules on social security for those who have been contributing since the get go. That's me! Huckabee in 2016!

Wishing all of you the best. Keep in touch!

Still trying to get a handle on this post-stroke world. Had to sell the bike, CycleShell cover and utility trailer. Still have a few helmets (one an unused Shoei X-12), a couple of jackets and chaps to sell, along with an Oceanic regulator and octopus, an aluminum tank, size XL wetsuit and diveskin and assorted other dive gear. Apparently, according to my doc, the only things I'm physically able to do these days are reading and going to baseball games.

First big one -- there had been four other small ones that I didn't even realize I'd had -- was in February 2013. Second big one was in September 2013. That time, I fell in a parking garage in Kansas City and broke my right upper arm in five places. Getting old ain't for sissies. Had to sell the bike because I could no longer balance it when I came to a stop. Thought about a trike, but both my wife and doc both say I'm too great a risk for another even worse stroke. It's nice being great at something, but it makes one feel like an invalid.
