***** VR Relief Fund Activation ******

Postby aVOL2 » February 10th, 2011, 12:05 pm

Most recently we have had a tragedy beyond words happen to one of our Volusia family members, Mr. Chad Cole (aka man of no consequence).

If you have not read about it there is a thread here in the friends and family thread started by him ( http://www.volusiariders.com/73-friends-family/211079-i-could-really-use-your-prayers-today.html ), or you can read his blog here: http://sadandchara.blogspot.com/2011/02/my-heart-is-broken.html

In the past we have saved the VR Relief Fund for motorcycle accidents, but I (and others) feel it needs to be open again for the benefit of a great loss and assistance. My heart is broken for Chad, and I can't even begin to tell you I hate the need to step up and do this, but he needs our help... Not just our words of support, but anything you can give.

Effective NOW/Today The VR Relief fund is open to accept your NON-TAX deducible gift for our brother Chad..................

You may pay pal your NON-TAX deducible gift to

vrrelieffund@aol.com

As always the fund is managed by Bugman and I oversee. All funds (less paypal fees) will be sent to Chad.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact me...

Regards,

aVOL2

This whole situation just brings tears to my heart.

I read his blog, and the excitement and anticipation of the upcoming birth was very evident in all the posts.

Just another example of how no day should ever be treated as anything less than it is....another 24 hrs to spend with the ones you love.

OMG - My wife was telling me about this accident when it happened because I lived in Ann Arbor for a long time and my daughter is a freshman there, so we pay attention to the local news. I had no idea it could have been someone from our family.

This just breaks our hearts. Chad is in our thoughts and prayers.

Here is the local blog and Chad's goodbye to Miranda

I read it once. I can't read it again. It tears me up to think about what Chad is going through right now.... Thankfully, the relief fund will be open for a while, so I can donate the next time I get paid....
