I often backed down to let Skrappie and Grouch catch up and Ron nor I ever really got on it....but Annie was always there with us.

I was supposed to go this year, but the folks I was going to ride with got hit with the bad tornadoes...
After seeing this video, especially, I am going to try EXTRA hard to make it next year.

There are no words that can describe the emotion when you come across the bridge, round the corner past the Lincoln memorial and see the Marine there. The first year I went, it was very hard to hold back the tears because it was unexpected. Now, even after 6 years going, it still gets me choked up eventhough I know he'll be there.

Yeah, that first year was the hardest. It's still hard.
