If you p**** us do we not bleed? If you tickle us do we not laugh? If you poison us do we not die? And if you wrong us shall we not revenge?

Dean, it's so good to see you online. If there's any way you can make that ride, don't EVEN worry about where to stay. We'll squeeze ya in easy enough.

How's the coolant "fix" holding up? And how'd the battery, or batteries, turn out?

Any word on Mike's escort?

Now if we can just get Tommy, PapawKen, and a few others on here, I'll be able to relax again.

Robert,

As of right now you are voted in as 'Ride Captain' and Jonathan and I have voted for a route on the East side of Toledo Bend going down (171 or 191, can't remember, the way we came up from picking the bike up) and our return ride will be like last year up the West side of Toledo Bend (great ride). I'll still meet y'all in Marshall at the Waffle House at 9 am if that's what you want to do.

Ken

ps. ...and anyone that wants to join is more than welcome.

Howdy, boys!!! Somebody mention "Hill Country"? I'll be scootin' around out there Saturday; and then again the same weekend as the cajun crawfish chow-down over in lousyana, I'll be basing out of Kerrville for 3 days doing a more extensive tour of the Hill Country. We'll be riding the 3-sisters again 'dog. I know you've been there done that. We all need to get together again and stay at the D'Rose Inn (again). Dean, you & Gin need to accompany Robert, Tommy et al over to Leaky to ride the sisters for a couple of days. So C'moooooon down!

see what havin' a gps gets me? 8-) sounds good to me. i think me and johnathan are gonna meet again next wednesday and try to sync up this comm system i got but never used for bike to bike. primo made me a heck of a trade for a replacement unit for the one i burned up with the wrong charger, and he said the time he tried it bike to bike, it worked pretty good. hoping to have the stereo in the fairing reconnected by then, but we thought he might like to be able to shout at someone 'til he gets used to us anyway.

I got to admire you for being willing to go back to the parking lot where you earned your nickname! [CLAP] [CLAP] [CLAP]

papawken keeps mentioning the hill country, too. we really need to pick a date for that and do it. maybe around when we did it last time, like sept or oct wasn't it, woody? we need to shout at garn and niccola and get them over here.

Ahhhh, the Hill Country. I have so many great memories of that whole area and getting tired of those memories being too distant! Once I can get back on track with events, I personally vote for plenty of priority on the Hills. Besides, we have a great host for that region, Woodmeister.

Robert, I got word today that the M.E. has released Mike for cremation this morning and they expect he will be ready for burial escort within the next 10 days. I will surely let you know as soon as I find out and greatly appreciate your willingness to help me escort him to rest next to my Mother, in Highland Memorial Gardens. This will complete his last wishes, he wanted so much to have a bike escort. Had you known Mike during his life, you'd know how important and natural that is for him.
I ride a beautiful red classic Knucklehead.

Got the little amp i ordered from motorcycle tunes in abilene last friday and got it hooked up inside the fairing on sunday. Sounds pretty good, hooked up to cheap dual radio/sd player and polk speakers in the fairing and them little bullet speakers from gooddeals18 on the handlebars. Whole setup prob only cost <$150 if I'd done it this way to start with.

Hope to be heading to BikersBay in bedford tomorrow for some new Metzelers, and I'll be set for the cajun trip 2 weeks from this weekend.

Rain last night rearranged the sand on the roads again. :x

Dean, hope y'all came thru the storms okay out there. I was a bit worried watching the radar about 2am, but I ain't seen you on the news. Looks like most of the damage was south. I got some cleanup to do out at Green Acres from that storm a couple weeks ago. Tree missed the house by inches, from what I hear.
