Western Rally August 8-10, 2008 Yellowstone National Park

Postby Volusiaguy » March 12th, 2008, 1:02 am

Ok...here's the information. As of a couple weeks ago, they had 120 sites still available but were starting to till up fast. B2B and family have two sites and Polo, Ronnie, me, Stitch, and Vol210 have the third. Call them NOW and reserve your spot. They charge your cc $18 for the first night only and then you can settle up at the end of your stay. The group site had limited space, parking well away from the tents, and we would have to check out on Saturday morning. This is the best site and all of them are close to each other..whoever ends up with the best spot will be the "party site" Smile Showers, gas, groceries, restaurant, cabins, bookstore, laundry, and lake all within walking distance!!!

CNDWrangler and Condolini are confirmed campers too! Who else is going to commit? You won't regret it!

Grant Campground
Ph: 307-344-7311
everyone who was reserving a campsite make sure to tell the reservations people that they want one close to Jerry Carter and they'd do their best to put us all together.

WE have:

3 sites
Aug. 4-9 (checking out the 10th)

A definate possibility for me. Where can I get more info? Was in Utah at that time last summer. A great trip. Hadn't decided where to go this summer, but this sounds like a good trip.

Hey, if you're going you can help me talk Anna into going.
We can ride out together.

Just don't call it a rally. She thinks she doesn't like rallies.
Call it a party in the woods with a bunch of bikers.

This will be a great time for all. Probably a lot more mellow than a real "rally" since the Park Service is really tough on any loud activities after 10pm. Unless...we invite all the campers in our area over...then we're good to go...LOL

Call the number, get a site, plan your trip. Easy. There's more discussion on the VR, but the basic facts of the trip are right here in the first post. PM me for specifics, but get a site quickly so you can have a place. You can always cancel later, but if the park fills up, you're screwed.

Or, what about this? You can go.....and Anna and I will keep the house fire lit for you while you're gone?

I'm calling to reserve a site.
