Just learned that Winfield Smith aka Biker Pop and Smitty apparently passed away in his sleep last night.
A great man with a million stories to tell.
    He will be greatly missed.

Further posts report that he passed away in his sleep at home in his favorite chair.

RIP my friend...

Smitty was a kind spirit. I never heard a negative thing come out of his mouth. He was a good listener as well. He never seemed disinterested in anything you had to tell him. I loved the little quips he had about his goats. He showed up to one of the RNR's with his dhillis "DJ" drive modded bike (the first of its kind) and let everyone take turns riding it. I remember thinking.. man, I gotta get me one of these!

He will be missed.
